Besides, the winner of Afghanistan and South Africa will also be the new finalist in the all-time history of the T20 and ODI World Cups.
Afghanistan are coming off with an 8-run win in their last super-8 game against. On the other hand, the Proteas defeated the hosts West Indies by 3 wickets in their last super-8 game. Notably, it will be the first-ever appearance for Afghanistan in the Semi-Finals in the history of the T20 World Cup since the tournament’s inception 17 years back in 2007.
