As the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) gears up for its 12th season, cricket enthusiasts worldwide are eagerly anticipating the action set to unfold. This year’s tournament, beginning on Friday, August 30, promises to be another spectacular display of T20 cricket, featuring some of the biggest names in the game from the Caribbean and beyond.
Antigua and Barbuda Falcons (ABF) will be playing in their debut season of the Caribbean Premier League. In the opener of the 2024 edition of the tournament, they will meet the 2021 edition winners, the St. Kitts and the Nevis Patriots (SKN). The Falcons are replacing Jamaica Tallawahs in the league this season. Falcons and Patriots have never played a match against each other before, while the opener of CPL 2024 would be the first encounter between the two teams.
