Hobart Hurricanes will take on Sydney Sixers in the fifth match of the Big Bash League 2023-24 on Monday (December 11) at the North Tasmania Cricket Association Ground in Launceston. It will be the second game of the season for the Sixers, while the Hurricanes will be featuring in their first match.
Hurricanes won six out of 14 games last season and finished in sixth position. Nathan Ellis has been named the skipper of the side for this season, and he has replaced Matthew Wade. Sam Hain, Sam Heazlett, Corey Anderson, Nikhil Chaudhary, Liam Guthrie, Peter Hatzoglou, and Chris Jordan have been added to the squad for this season.
